This is the only affordable brand I've found that offers my actual size - 7.5 4E. But if you compare similar styles in more expensive shoes, you can tell that Propet's are really wide in the center of the foot. I was disappointed when I got mine. I guess the ball of the foot, where I'm wide, fit OK, but where I have a high arch and more normal width, they stuck way out. My best guess is they would fit someone so overweight that they literally have size-changing amounts of fat on their feet or flatfoot from the amount of downward pressure on the foot's springy bits. I see that on most of their shoes, so I'm going back to standard width, where there are more inexpensive choices, and maybe occasionally shelling out for a better made brand that fits me better. My absolute favorite brand is Keen. They have a wide toe box, but the sole curves up into the arch, which I adore. It's so graceful. Bern is also a fav, and some Jambu.
