I never knew clay-barring was a thing until now. My car is 15 years old has only been washed. Over the years no matter how much I washed it my car doesn't fully get clean. There's always spots and bumps all around. I thought that's just what happens when cars get old, and it is, but I didn't know there was a way to pull all of it out so it looks like brand new.My sedan took three full bars. I used it on all the glass as well. Washed the car, pulled all the dirt and bumps out with the clay bars, then cover the car in wax. It looks amazing!I think everyone should clay-bar their car at least once every few years.Rusty rear license plate left residue on car - seemed to be impossible to remove. Auto body shop 'professional' (the shop manager) recommended using touch up paint over the area... 'trusted auto mechanic' said 'Clay Bar'. Cleaned area, used water with the Bar - worked like a charm!I detail our two cars. Occasionally need to Clay bar to remove road grime from gel coat. A little more difficult to use than Clay mitts, cloths, and pads, but I have more confidence in the performance.It’s a clay bar it works.Used this on a Tesla that hadn't been waxed in 1.5+ years and it cleaned everything quite well - especially the dirt "film" that wouldn't come off w/ soap. Did take a bit more effort than normal on bird droplets than some other clay.On positive side it is more compliant than some bars that take serious strength to stretch out and don't conform to the car wellOn negative side, it conforms quickly to whatever to set it on and doesn't all come off - even a plastic lid. The previous clay I used wore out and left blue streaks on the car. This clay is cheap enough to use once and throw away, plus its color did not leave streaks on the cars. It cut the oxidized paint quite well.Nothing really to say if you already use clay bars to remove vehicle contaminants. The only thing I will echo that has been stated is the fact this brand is a bit more tacky than say Chemical Guys version.
