These were not at all what I expected. They are not white... ivory at best, but truly cream colored. They are not soft. I had picked up a set of the white bath towels at Costco and hoped these were a match. The Costco bath towels are dreamy perfection. There were varying reviews on these hand towels/wash cloths... some said they were a match to the Costco towels, some said they weren't. I took a chance and obviously got the bad end of the gamble. I haven't reached out to the seller to try and return them... that takes more energy than I have right now.They arrived just fine.Luxurious towels that are still soft and absorbent months after purchasing them.I'd never heard of this brand before, but they perform better than anything I've bought from larger brand names. Actually bought a set of these for friends as a house-warming gift.If you're looking for a fairly thin but comfortable towel, these will do the trick.These are nice. I was hoping the hand towels were a little bigger, but they are good quality.Thick, heavy, cotton towels. If you like that sort of towel, all the power to you. I find them tough to lift and use, especially when damp.I found the bath towels at Costco for little $$$. I wanted the hand towels and wash clothes as well but Costco didn't have them. I was happy to find them on Amazon and again they were little $$$ and the quality is great.Perfect match for towels I purchased
